Stick Straight: My Simple Guide To Stick Straight Hair

Surprise, surprise! Misikko sent me a straightening iron to try out and see if I like it. So here is my simple guide to stick straight (Gwyneth Paltrow) like hair. 

This particular iron is by HANA, and I must say, I was a little skeptical at first since I haven't used a straightening iron since 2008, so I wondered if the technology had improved at all, but ohh boy did it!  Not only did the iron heat up instantly but as soon as it touched my hair it was straight with one pull.  What usually took 45 minutes to straighten my hair took less than 10! I was in love...with a straightener! The tool is light in your hand, plus the size of it is perfect for styling or "flippy ends" like I did in my hair.  It is definitely the Best Flat Iron that I have ever used...scouts honor. 

A little trick of the trade to get that glossy and healthy finish on your hair is by using  a dime size amount of Moroccan Oil.

I've never been able to style my ends before with any other straightening iron.

PRESTO! Instant straight hair! There is definitely something to be said for stick straight hair, you all know how much I love my beachy waves but this is definitely a fun deviation from the messy do.  I have always admired Gwyneth Paltrow's hair, but I never realized how easily it could be done.

The real test came when I decided to straighten my sister's hair, who's hair is much curlier than mine.

To my surprise...It was easy peasy lemon squeezy!  Usually straightening her hair is a total nightmare, this she could practically do herself, when using the iron you can feel how easily it glides down your hair, leaving it glossy and stick straight.
