Favela da Rocinha

I have officially decided that I like the clothing in Brazil better than in New York City, the Real (pronounced, heyal aka the Brazilian currency) makes everything very affordable for people, like me, who are paying with the American dollar.  Dress and Necklace both purchased in Brazilian stores, Floral Dress by Farm, Leather Necklace by LeeLoo, shoes by K.Jacques.

Location: Barra da Tijuca, Brazil.

Behind me, to my right is the biggest and most dangerous slum(ghetto) in all of Rio de Janeiro, the name of the slum is called Rocinha (pronounced hosinga), the Favela's reside on the side of the mountains, giving it a unique look. Around 200,000 people live in this slum.  Unfortunately this is the closest a tourist like me can get to the slums.  Bathing suit top by J.Crew, Skirt by American Apparel, Sunglasses by American Apparel. Mary Jane ballet flats by a Brazilian company called Farm, Necklace by Tanah Kalb.
Top by Emma&Sam.
I may be the only one, but I think it's beautiful...from afar.
